Getting Your Textbooks Early

Its always a good idea to get a few textbooks before you go to university in September or October – after all, it can’t help to do a bit of background reading. Why not rent a few textbooks from us for 30 days just to have a read over and get yourself familiar with a few concepts before term starts? Alternatively, pick a few general textbooks that cover most the modules you will be doing this year and rent them for the entire 2 semesters. The benefit of doing this is that you will always have a good background source to consult if you are stuck or confused on any of modules you are doing.

Many of you organised students out there may want to get all your recommended reading list before you get to uni, so renting the textbooks is a great option as it will allow you to get more textbooks out of your precious student loan. On average, you could get 2 or 3 times as many books for the same cost by renting as opposed to buying – that includes buying cheap used textbooks as well!

Getting organised early is always a good thing to do, so if you want to be clued up before you go to university, then start renting your textbooks from Acadreamia – The UK’s No.1 Textbook Rental Service TM

Acadreamia provides textbooks to UK students far cheaper than any other UK cheap used textbook seller can. We don’t like to favour particular locations – we save everybody money – but we do have an affinity with the students of Leeds and Newcastle University.

Being based in the city of Newcastle, we obviously love renting textbooks to the students of Newcastle Uni and Northumbria Uni. If you are lucky enough to be at either of those universities, look out for our wallplanners which are being distributed during freshers fairs. There are some great student centric companies and special offers on there, so make sure you use them!

The kind people from the University of Leeds and Leeds Metropolitan University have been kind to Acadreamia in showing lots of support. Then again, why wouldn’t they!? We’re saving the students in Leeds tons of money on textbooks, and aren’t even asking anything in return.

If you are a student in Leeds or Newcastle and have rented textbooks from Acadreamia, we salute you! Congratulations on making the right choice and saving money by renting your textbooks. If you have any nice things to say about our UK textbook rental service, why not leave a comment and let us know. We love to hear back from the student community about how great our service and prices are!

This is a question which we get asked all the time – one with a pretty simple answer. As students, we have experienced the financial problems that plague them throughout university life. Textbooks have always been a problem for students. They’re over priced in the union bookshops, out of stock in the library, and new editions come out all the time. So we thought to ourselves, what can we do to make it so that future students don’t have to go through the problems we do – and that’s when Acadreamia was born.

Buying textbooks is such a hassle for students. Even sites which claim to sell cheap used textbooks to students still charge obscene prices. To make things worse, when you come to try and sell your textbooks, they are out of date and nobody wants them, or you will only get paid around 10% of what you paid. By renting textbooks to students @Acadreamia. students can save hundreds of pounds throughout their degree.

Since we still own the books before, during and after they are rented, we are able to re-rent them to other students. Because we have the ability to do this, we can offer prices lower than any other bookseller. We pride ourselves on being the first online textbook rental service in the UK and offering the lowest prices possible.

So to answer the original question, we started renting textbook to save students money and make their life a bit easier offering real savings rather than just claiming to sell cheap and used textbooks.

1. A boy is 4 years old and his sister is three times as old as he is. When the boy is 12 years old, how old will his sister be?

2. There are forty coins sitting on the table, 20 are currently heads and 20 are currently tails. You are sitting at the table with a blindfold and gloves on. You are able to feel where the coins are, but are unable to see or feel if they heads or tails. You must create two sets of coins. Each set must have the same number of heads and tails as the other group. You can only move or flip the coins, you are unable to determine their current state. How do you create two even groups of coins with the same number of heads and tails in each group?

Remember, you need to tweet your answers @Acadreamia to win.
